I use this website a lot for discovering many interesting places that not many people have been to. More important, it has goods pictures and descriptions for each location so that I can get a better ideas of the location I want to go.

Lonely Plant was my first travel book when I started traveling. It is one of the most popular travel guidance for solo travelers, especially emphasis on budget travel and backpackers. Even though I have never been a backpackers, this travel guide book can still provide you many helpful tips and information how to travel around the world at a low cost. All the travel reviews are written by different professional travelers employed by the Lonely Planet and till now, it has covered basically all the major countries around the world.
